Deacon Ron Smith and Mary have been married for 47 years and have five adult children and six grandchildren.
Deacon Ron is employed by Data Axle (formerly Donnelley Marketing) in Ames for 32 years in computer support.
Ministries include marriage and baptism preparation, support youth programs, marriage enrichment including Date Night, a member of the Diocesan Marriage Taskforce, support those dealing with divorce, help with ministry at Story County jail and various liturgical activities.
